1.5 Release Notes

The 1.4 release has been rolled into the 1.5 release.

Readers are encouraged to review previous release notes for any features or bug fixes you may have missed, especially 1.2 as it was a large one!

The 1.5 release includes code associated with major modules that have not been fully released.

Those tickets are not included in the list below as they are technical in nature and provide little benefit to end users at this time (as associated functions are not activated).

Improvements

OSCARPRO-3774 - Refactor OutboundFaxApiConnector in Classic

  • Provides improvement to classes associated with the eFax module to reduce unnecessary loading times

OSCARPRO-3984 - Refactor how OSCAR Pro makes HTTP requests into a single request handler

  • Combines different aspects of HTTP requests internally into a single method to improve speed and future efficiency. 

OSCARPRO-4151 - OMD eForm Conformance: CMS Metadata Changes

  • Adds minor Organization metadata fields in the OneID eForm requests, as identified through conformance with OMD.

Bugs

OSCARPRO-2601 - Unable to Print Referral Labels

  • Resolves an Ubuntu font issue causing the "label" function within Ref not to work.

OSCARPRO-2611 - Cannot display Reason Code when "Display Appointment Type" is on

  • Addresses a bug that was preventing the Reason Code (dropwon) from displaying on the schedule when the setting to display the Appointment Type is enabled

OSCARPRO-2633 - Include OSCAR-4717 Eyeform fix in custom eyeform_poc eyeform

  • Includes a fix applied to the Eyeform within the custom eyeform_poc configuration

OSCARPRO-2784 - 'Comment Added' does not display if using Acknowledge button in Inbox

  • Ensures that the "Comment Added" prompt at the top right of the Inbox displays when the Acknowledge button is used within a Document.

OSCARPRO-2879 - Monthly appointment count not the same as Daily count

  • Resolves an inconsistency in the appointment count between monthly and daily calendars. When monthly view is opened, placeholder appointments not associated with a demograpchic (eg. LUNCH) no longer appear in the appointment count number.

OSCARPRO-3139 - Inbox Observation Date Shows Future Date after Cancelling from Warning Alert

  • Addresses a visual bug that caused the Observation Date to temporarily show incorrectly when a specific workflow is used. 

OSCARPRO-3248 - Rx total quantity calculation looks invalid if `Max:` field value is decimal

  • Resolves an issue whereby the Total Quantity fails to populate via the parser if user inputs a decimal point within the instructions (eg. 1.5).

OSCARPRO-3274 - Schedule Calendar year arrow skips to incorrect month

  • When using the Calendar link on schedule and skipping to next year, the current month on schedule is retained and no longer reverts to January.

OSCARPRO-3905 - Creation Date and Time missing from Edit when Invoice created via Pro UI

  • When creating an invoice using the Pro UI, the 'Created by' line in Billing Correction / Edit now displays the created date and time successfully after creators name.

OSCARPRO-4133 - Using (to take) in Rx Instructions in Pro replaced with incorrect instructions

  • Inputting (to take) in the Rx instructions in the Pro UI no longer erases other instructions after clicking away from field.

OSCARPRO-4172 - Renewal Request page freezes if Action is Deny and eSign Save and Paste is used

  • The Renewal Request no longer freezes if a user uses the 'eSign Save and Paste' function when selecting Deny as the reason. Note that issue did not occur when selecting 'eSign and Save' only.

OSCARPRO-4178 - Schedule displays error 500 if User not configured with UAO logs in to OneID

  • Prevents user from utilizing DHDR components if their provider record is not set up in the Under Authority Of (UAO). This prevents user from running into a 500 error that may translate into the schedule.

OSCARPRO-4289 - Unable to ReRx if instructions contain 'PO/' in Pro

  • Restores ability of users to Re-Rx a medication that contains "PO/" in the instructions.

OSCARPRO-4305 - User unable to sign Rx Manually in Pro if record is missing from provider_facility table

  • Fixes an issue that prevented newly created users from using the Signature Pad to sign an Rx when using the Pro UI. 

OSCARPRO-4404 - Unable to successfully trigger Fax from a single Document in Pro Inbox

  • Resolves an issue that prevented users utilizing the new eFax module from sending a fax directly from a Document in the Pro Inbox UI..

OSCARPRO-4404 - kaiemr 1.5 failed to deploy in production due to missing migration

  • Addresses an issue that was causing the kaiemr war file from deploying to certain systems.

OSCARPRO-4406 - Schedule appt link buttons erroneously expand to second row

  • Fixes an issue that was causing certain items on the schedule to display the link under the patient's name instead of right beside it.

OSCARPRO-4470 - Message when user cannot login always shows as 'locked out'

  • Resolves an issue that caused users who were not locked out, to still get the "locked out" prompt upon a failed login. The issue does not effect users who are able to successfully login.

OSCARPRO-4550 - Inactive patients fail to display when searching in Document despite Active Only disabled

  • Restores ability of Inactive Patients to display when assigning Documents to demographics. This ensures that if Active Only checkbox is unselected by users, they can successfully locate a patient set to Inactive in their Master Record.

OSCARPRO-4591 - Default Smart Encounter Template Fails to Display on Initial Open

  • Fixes an issue that prevented the Smart Encounter Form from opening the default template automatically if one is set. Users with Default Encounter Form setup within their configurations can now see the Default Form open automatically once more.

OSCARPRO-4612 - Day Sheet under Reports displaying patient name in wrong order

  • Fixes the incorrect order of patient name introduced through a change in this release. The correct order of [Last Name], [First Name] is restored when using the All Appointments Report.

OSCARPRO-4660 - Appointment displays in single line instead of multiple when Type on schedule is enabled

  • Addresses an issue causing appointments to display in single line, instead of multiple lines, when the Appointment Type is enabled to display on schedule for the system. The appointment information is once more displayed in multiple lines, reducing the width of the columns.

1.5.4 Tickets

OSCARPRO-4668 - Link MRP toggle in Pro UI not respected

  • Fixes an issue with the Link MRP toggle not working as expected, and continued to attach provider despite being toggled off. Toggling the option will now ensure that associated MRP is not being attached to the Document.

OSCARPRO-4687 - RingCentral faxes with unknown sender fail to download

  • Addressed an issue with the Ring Central API that fails to import "Unknown" fax entry. Such faxes do not include a senders fax number causing an error when attempting to import into OSCAR Pro.

    Going forward, Unknown faxes will import successfully but will not include a 'sender' number (as one is not provided by Ring Central).
