Attachment Manager
Collapse / Expand All Categories
The Attachment Manager now includes “Expand All” and “Collapse All” controls, making it easy to open or minimize every category with a single click.
This is a meaningful usability upgrade in a workspace that includes 19 categories, so clinicians and staff spend less time hunting for the right section and more time focused on patient care.
Just as important, the system remembers the expanded or collapsed view across patients. That small bit of continuity removes repetitive setup every time the Attachment Manager opens, creating a smoother, faster workflow throughout the day.
Filter Items by Date Range
The Attachment Manager now includes a date range filter that makes finding the right items faster and more focused.
Clinicians and staff can narrow long lists to a specific time window, which speeds up review, printing, and follow up tasks while keeping selections aligned to what’s visible on screen.
This directly supports required EMR workflows for viewing and printing records by date range, helping teams move away from older print processes with a cleaner, more efficient experience. Such as the Attachment Manager replacing the dated Print Dialog functionality in eChart.
Hide Empty Categories by Default
Attachment Manager no longer displays empty categories by default, reducing clutter and making the list of available items easier to find.
This keeps the focus on what actually needs attention, so clinicians and staff can find the right category and items faster without changing any settings.
Show Only Selected eDocs
Attachment Manager now displays only the eDocs that have been intentionally selected for attachment use, helping reduce clutter and improve performance for clinics with large document libraries.
This makes it easier for staff to find the most relevant items and keeps attachment workflows more manageable daily use.

Reduced Attachment Clutter in Consultations
The Consultation Attachment Widget now shows only the categories most relevant to consultation referrals, helping reduce clutter and improve loading speed.
By avoiding unnecessary attachment types, the workflow becomes faster and easier for clinicians and staff to use during referral preparation.
This update addresses feedback that the newer consultation attachment experience felt slower and more cumbersome than before.
Helping restore a more streamlined workflow, while keeping the long term benefits of using the Attachment Manager.
Clinics can decide to go back to the old method of displaying all Attachment Manager categories via the setting found in
Administration > System Management > Consultation Settings > General Consultation Request Settings
Show all attachment categories in Consultation Attachment Widget ON / OFF
Measurements Now Available
Attachment Manager now includes Measurements as a selectable category, making it easier to include patient measurement data when attaching or sending information through the EMR.
Measurements are grouped by type to keep the list easier to scan, and when printed or faxed, the selected group includes all recorded measurements in the output.
Pro UI Inbox
All Unactioned Inbox Items Now Visible
Previously, the Pro Inbox loaded items within the last 180 days by default. Users could adjust the dates in the inbox to see content beyond this date range.
The 180 date range default has been removed. Clinicians and staff can access all unactioned items by default.
This helps reduce the risk of missed follow-up work while keeping date filtering available as an optional user choice.
To facilitate this change, core changes were implemented to increase the performance of the Inbox.
Users are expected to see a significant improvement in the initial loading time of items in the Pro Inbox, without increasing infrastructure risk for large clinics or high-volume views.
Result Status for Labs Now Displayed
The Pro Inbox now shows lab result status directly in the list, including Partial, Final, and Corrected. This brings back the clarity clinicians and staff relied on in Classic, so they can triage labs faster without opening each item to confirm its status.
By restoring this at a glance visibility, the inbox becomes a more reliable workspace for lab review, reducing extra clicks and helping users prioritize based on result state.
Display HRM Sub Class
When viewing the inbox, the specific subclass associated with the HRM now displays in the Discipline column of inbox items.
Allowing clinicians to recognize the type of HRM within the Inbox overview, without opening the actual item.
This feature can be disabled by navigating to Administration > Lab Display Setting.
Faxing Documents, Labs and HRM's Directly
Previously, only Document items can be faxed directly from the Inbox.
Documents, Labs, and HRMs now include a Fax button that opens the Attachment Manager fax pane with the selected item already loaded.
This removes extra steps and keeps faxing consistent across document types, so clinicians and staff can move from review to sending without leaving their workflow.
Inbox List Mode UI Update
The Inbox header interface has been updated to align with the latest design system. Updating controls, spacing, typography, colours and interaction states for a more consistent EMR experience.
The update is visual and UX-focused only, with no functional changes to existing List Mode behavior.
Ontario Billing
New Generate OHIP Date Range Selection
Admin > Billing > Generate OHIP Files now displays files based on the last 120 days, so recent claim files are visible right away and the list loads faster.
This avoids the new year “missing files” confusion and reduces the need to open archives.
Larger clinics will also notice faster loading speed for the page into the year as less files load by default.
If users need older files, they can switch to 6 months, 12 months, or a specific year from a dropdown.
Ontario Billing Simulation Improvements
Simulation now flags invoices tied to patients with QC‑Quebec or Other health card types before the OHIP file is generated. This lets billing teams correct issues early, reducing rejected claims and avoiding the extra work of fixing problems after submission.
In addition, invoices with decimals units no longer cause a 500 error during simulation. Billing simulation now flags invoices when the number of units contains a decimal, so staff can correct problems before submitting OHIP files.
Configure Default "Remit To" Address
Users can now configure a clinic wide Remit To address for Third Party billing in Administration > Billing > Billing Settings.
Setting up a default can help reduce the need for constant manual override and reduce potential missing payment issues.
Eyeform Chart
Display Dates on CPP Items
Eyeform now displays the last updated date directly beside CPP items in key chart sections, including:
- Patient Log
- Current History
- Medical History
- Past Ocular History
- Diagnostic Notes
This gives clinicians and staff clearer visibility into when information was last changed without needing to hover over or open each item.
This setting is enabled by default for all Eyeform users, but can be disabled per user via Preferences > Eyeform eChart Preferences
Improved Patient Log Navigation
The Eyeform now supports a fixed-height Patient Log with a scrollbar, helping keep the eChart shorter and easier to navigate when patients have many log entries.
This reduces unnecessary scrolling and makes the chart easier for clinicians and staff to review during daily use.
The improvement can be disabled per user by navigating to Preferences > Eyeform eChart Preferences

OSCARPRO-7983 – Collapse or Expand all Attachment Manager Categories and Retain State
- Added “Expand All” and “Collapse All” buttons to open or close all Attachment Manager categories at once.
- Clicking "Collapse All" minimizes all the categories in Attachment Manager, allowing user to expand a specific one they're looking for.
- The existing selection is retained. Opening Attachment Manager for another patient will remain minimized (or expanded) depending on the users choice.
- This saves clinicians and staff time by reducing repeated clicks when searching for the right category.
OSCARPRO-7719 – Create and Implement Reusable Date Range Component in Attachment Manager
- Added a date range picker in Attachment Manager so users can filter items between two dates.
- Users can quickly narrow large attachment items to a relevant time window like "Today", "Last 14 Days", "Last 3 Months", etc.
OSCARPRO-8069 – Display Generate OHIP Files from the last 120 days instead of calendar year
- Updated the Generate OHIP Files view to show the most recent 120 days by default.
- The "Display Date Range" dropdown can be selected to increase the date range of files viewed.
- Ensures that recent claim files are always visible without searching archives. So that users are not presented with a blank page when a new year rolls over.
- Helps daily workflow by loading fewer files on large systems, which speeds up the page.
OSCARPRO-2433 – Simulation Shows Error if HC Type is QC or Other
- Added a simulation check in ON Billing processing that flags invoices when a patient’s health card type is set to QC‑Quebec or Other.
- Helps catch issues before submission, reducing rejected claims, billing errors, and corrections with MOH.
- Advises user which invoice needs to be corrected during simulation.
- QC and Other card types cause payment errors if not corrected ahead of time.
OSCARPRO-2437 – Check Units When Running Billing Simulation
- Prevents a 500 error from happening during simulation when decimal is inputted.
- Added a simulation check that flags invoices when the number of units contains a decimal.

OSCARPRO-7545 – Add button to inbox allowing review of other documents for the same patient
- Clicking "View Related" in Classic Inbox displays all documents of the same patient in the providers inbox.
- Allows users to access a view that shows all the documents in the Inbox associated with a specific demographic.
- The setting is disabled by default. It can be enabled via Administration > Lab Display Settings.
OSCARPRO-7916 – Reduce Patient Log Size in Eyeform by introducing Scrollbar via Preference
- Introduced a scrollbar by default in the Patient Log section of the Eyeform3.
- Helps reduce the size of charts that hold a lot of data, eliminating scrolling for other parts.
- Can be disabled via Preferences > Eyeform eChart Preferences.
OSCARPRO-7954 – Display HRM Discipline by Default and Limit Character Size
- Ensures that the HRM Discipline is displayed by default with the Classic or Pro Inbox UI's.
- Users will see the specific HRM category as opposed to the label "HRM", providing a better overview of what is in the Inbox at a glance.
- Can be disabled by navigating to Administration > Lab Display Setting > Display HRM sub class as discipline.
OSCARPRO-7995 – Performance delay on first daily drug search in OSCAR Pro Prescription page (likely cold-start related)
- Addressed the slow first drug search after daily restarts so the initial lookup no longer stalls unexpectedly.
- Reduces first drug search from 15-20 seconds, to a few seconds.
- Provides a loading bar to advise users that the search is actively working.
OSCARPRO-8013 – Add 'Prevnar 20' and 'RSV' and 'Jubbonti' Preventions to Default File
- Adds three new preventions for usage in the Prevention Module; Prevnar 20, RSV, and Jubbonti.
- Note that some systems have custom prevention lists, and may not get this update as a result.
OSCARPRO-8040 – Implement AM Fax button in Documents, Labs, HRM's
- Added Fax buttons in Documents, Labs, and HRMs that open the Attachment Manager fax pane with the item pre‑selected.
- This is valuable to clinicians and staff because they can send items immediately after review without extra navigation.
- Helps daily workflow by making faxing consistent across document types and reducing steps.
OSCARPRO-8074 – Disable "Display Empty Categories" in AM by default for all users
- Attachment Manager categories without any items are automatically hidden by default.
- Helps declutter the view by reducing the amount of unnecessary content that displays.
- Users can use the Setting preference to enable the display of empty categories.
OSCARPRO-8191 – Remove Bonus Codes from PAY PROGRAM functionality
- Removed erroneous Bonus Codes category from the Pay Program and Invoice Reports selections.
- Prevents accidental selection that can cause confusion for users during Bonus Code submissions.
OSCARPRO-8279 – Update HRM processing pipeline
- Updated HRM report handling so each available file is processed through clearer, step-by-step workflow stages.
- Helps significantly reduce chance of missing or partially processed incoming reports.
OSCARPRO-8299 – Include bonus codes billing type as an option when configuring a billing form for bills from the oscar pro admin
- Users can now select "Bonus Codes" as a Billing Type when creating a Billing Form in Ontario.
- Clinics that use "Bonus Code" option to strip out HIN or other identifying information can eliminate the need to manually select Bonus Codes each time by adding it as a default to a billing form.
OSCARPRO-8379 – Route users to the correct billing page based on their preferences
- Ensures that users set to load the latest Create Invoice UI are not routed through older UI's first.
- Helps the new UI load faster compared to before.
OSCARPRO-8384 – Add configurable Remit-To Address for Third-Party Billing in the Admin
- Added a configurable "Remit To" Address in Billing Settings for third-party billing.
- Clinics can set a dedicated remit address instead of always using the clinic address.
- Helps reduce payment errors eliminating the need to manually choose a remit to address.
- The new configuration can be founder under Administration > Billing > Billing Settings.
OSCARPRO-8392 – Load all inbox items without affecting infrastructure
- Pro Inbox no longer loads items within the last 180 days. Going forward, all assigned items for the associated provider load by default.
- Reduces the risk of missing pending clinical work that was previously outside the default 180-day window.
- Inbox Date Filters and Preference to limit date period (30 day, 60 day, etc) are still available.

- Improved performance of Form loading in eChart by reducing inefficient behavior when many forms are enabled.

- Improved performance for the VA and IOP sections in the Eyeform chart by optimizing database queries.

- Attachment Manager now shows only the eDocs that have been specifically marked for use there, instead of displaying all eDocs by default.

- Encounter notes with double quotes can now be safely attached and faxed using the Attachment Widget in Consultations.
- Users can review long lab comments with normal vertical scrolling while keeping result columns and dates visible on screen
OSCARPRO-8335 – Inactive Provider Able to Access FHIR API
- Provider records that are set to status 0 (inactive) can no longer query the FHIR API.
OSCARPRO-8339 – Creating two prescriptions at the same time can cause incorrect faxed PDFs
- Addresses an extremely rare edge case where two prescriptions created at exactly the same same time, by different users, can cause the incorrect Rx to fax.
OSCARPRO-8359 – Billing Type Sometimes Cannot Be Changed in Improved Billing View In Some Cases (Reverts to Default)
- Fixes an issue in Ontario Create invoice where changing the billing type could revert back to the default instead of saving the selected option.
OSCARPRO-8371 – Java Heap OOM Caused by Reviewing Large (~100+ Page) Documents in Inbox Image View
- Addresses a problem where opening very large documents in Inbox Image View and quickly advancing pages could overload memory and lead to broken pages or timeout errors.
- Improves reliability when reviewing long documents, reducing interruptions, and speeds up loading time.
OSCARPRO-8405 – BioTest HL7 Parser Fails Provider Routing When NTE Precedes OBR (Valid HL7)
- Fixes a BioTest HL7 parsing issue where valid ORU^R01 lab messages could be routed to Unclaimed instead of the ordering provider when NTE appeared before OBR.
- Labs are now routing to the associated provider as intended.
OSCARPRO-8430 – Super Codes Apply Incorrect Percent Values Between Classic and Pro Billing Views
- Addresses inconsistent Super Code percent behavior between Classic and Pro billing screens, where the same stored value could be interpreted differently and produce incorrect invoice calculations.
OSCARPRO-8499 – Lab Measurements containing a plus sign "+" do not display on cumulative lab values
- Fixed an issue where cumulative lab values could appear blank when the lab measurement name included a plus sign, such as combined antibody tests.
- Correct inconsistent name matching between incoming test names and stored lab names so both formats are compared consistently
OSCARPRO-8507 – Modify Pharmacy Modal Persists Unsaved Changes Due to Object Reference Binding
- Fixes a pharmacy editing issue where changes made in the Modify Pharmacy window could appear in the pharmacy list even when users closed the window without saving.
- Users must use the Save functionality to keep changes.
OSCARPRO-8508 – Patient and Provider Assignments fail in Pro Inbox after attempting to assign provider
- Address an Inbox issue where assigning a provider could appear to succeed but not display, and then patient assignment display could also fail on the same item.
OSCARPRO-8510 – Ocean Refer Button in Consultation Fails to Load eReferral
- Addresses a regression causing the Refer button in Consultation not to open the Ocean integration.
OSCARPRO-8522 – HRM Document Not Opening Directly From Echart if <AuthorPhysician> tag is missing in HRM xml
- Fixes an issue where some HRM documents would not open from the eChart list when the XML did not include an AuthorPhysician tag.

- Billing diagnosis search has been fixed so that searching for a Dx code no longer incorrectly fills in a diagnosis from a previously saved bill.

OSCARPRO-8709 – Inbox document comments do not appear immediately after creation
- Ensures that Comments added to a Document via Inbox are displayed right away and do not require a refresh to see them.
OSCARPRO-8721 – Remove duplicate commons-logging from CardSwipe WAR
- Cardswipe no longer deploys out of order. Prevents occasional interruptions to the health card validation in Ontario.
