Document Markup

Document Markup gives clinics a faster way to prepare documents for sharing without leaving OSCAR Pro. Users can now open a document in the Pro Inbox, mark it up directly in place, and send it by fax or email without the older download, edit, and re-upload workflow. For teams that regularly send signed or marked up documents, this removes friction from a common day-to-day task.

The feature is designed around practical document preparation rather than internal charting. Staff can add text, highlight content, draw on the page, place images, and apply quick stamps such as Approved, Rejected, and Signature before sending. It also supports fillable PDFs where the source document allows it, which makes it easier to complete and return forms directly from the EMR.

Inbox Redesign

This release includes a broad set of improvements to the OSCAR Pro Inbox focused on speed, clarity, and day-to-day usability. The inbox experience has been refined to make it easier for users to review, organize, and move through items with less friction, especially in higher-volume workflows.

Users will notice a more polished and consistent interface across list view, grid view, and document detail panels, along with clearer status visibility for items such as HRMs, recovered HRMs, and priority labs. Everyday actions such as filing, acknowledging, commenting, forwarding, faxing, and reviewing documents have also been streamlined to reduce extra clicks and make the workflow feel more intuitive.

FHO+ (Ontario)

The new FHO+ time code billing panel gives Ontario FHO clinics a much simpler way to manage the 2026 hourly billing codes in OSCAR Pro. Instead of relying on manual tracking, dummy demographics, separate notes, or repeated invoice creation steps, users can now review and work from one dedicated panel built specifically for these codes. The result is a cleaner monthly workflow that reduces administrative effort while making it easier to capture billable time accurately.

From a user perspective, the biggest improvement is visibility. The panel brings together provider and month selection, daily status tracking, estimated values, billed values, monthly totals, and clear indicators for entries that still need attention. It also helps users quickly understand which days are already submitted, which are still being reviewed, and which are upcoming, so they can focus on what still needs action without hunting through multiple parts of the EMR.

The panel also adds practical automation and quality-of-life improvements that should matter immediately in day-to-day billing. Users can enter or adjust time directly in the panel, keep daily annotations for indirect work, review totals as they build through the month, and use Submit All Outstanding to create invoices only for valid unbilled days. In short, this feature is designed to help clinics spend less time assembling hourly billing records and more time reviewing, confirming, and submitting them confidently.
