The patient's eChart can be generated into a PDF document, or it can be faxed directly from the patient's eChart using the printer dialogue icon.
The Printer Dialogue icon can be located at the bottom of the patient's eChart:
This will load into a tiny window which will allow you to enable what parts of the patient's eChart that you wish to have included:
The Notes section will automatically load as enabled, this can be noted by the green printer icon.
The printer icon needs to be clicked beside any area to be included in the PDF/Fax, this will change the icon to a larger green printer:
ALL will also be marked on the left side, and this can be changed to Dates if you only need to include items between certain date ranges:
Once the items have been selected, the action button of Print or Fax can be clicked:
Print:
This will generate a PDF document that will automatically download and be saved in your destination for downloads.
Please note that the destination of where the document will be saved will differ per computer, this is based on a browser setting. It can be accessed from a Chrome browser by clicking on the upside down blue arrow located in the top right corner, this will display and recent downloads generated:
The PDF can then be actioned further as required at the clinic.
Fax:
This option will request a number to be entered prior to completing the Fax:
The drop down in Ref Doctor will be your clinic's Specialist list. If selecting a destination from the list, the Add button on the right needs to be clicked to drop and attach the fax number:
If the destination is not available in the list, it can be manually entered in the Fax No box, and the Add button on the right clicked to drop and attach that fax number:
Once a fax number has been attached, the Send button can be used to complete this action.
