In this video, I walk you through the process of copying another provider's list of favorite medications using the medications module. To start, you'll need to click on the Rx from a scheduled appointment and access the favorites list. I demonstrate how to select a provider, like Beth, and either copy all of their favorites or individual medications, such as Celebrex. Once you've copied the favorites, you can manage and categorize them as needed. Please make sure to review your favorites and assign them to appropriate categories for better organization.
0:00 Hi there. In today's video, we are going to be going over how to copy another provider's list of favorite medications.
0:10 So in order to do that, you do need to open up the medications module. So I'm going to click on the Rx here from a scheduled appointment to open up medications.
0:20 Now on the far right will be the favorites list. Now in order to copy another provider's favorites, we're going to click on the copy button.
0:30 And that'll do to open up for us this little window here. Now you do have the option here of marking off whether or not you wish to share your own favorites.
0:38 By placing the check mark there, another provider would be able to select your name under the medications module to obtain your favorites list.
0:47 Now under provider is going to be where we're going to select a provider that we wish to share their copy their favorites.
0:53 So I'm going to select Beth. And by selecting her name, that's going to populate all of her favorite medications. Now up at the very top of this list, we will see that we have a copy all option.
1:04 So you're able to select everything that they have. If you wish, there's also a copy button beside each one of the medications.
1:12 So as I have some Lipitor already, I'm just going to click on the Celebrex and click copy and we'll see copy favorite copy down at the bottom.
1:25 When done with reviewing the favorites, we have the X and the top right right corner. That'll close it off and we will now have those favorites that we have selected.
1:38 The new favorites that we have obtained can be managed and grouped under different categories, but clicking on the manage option.
1:47 By clicking on manage, we are then able to go into uncategorized in order to assign off any of those drugs.
