In this video we will be covering how to print or fax a prescription with a preferred pharmacy set and a signature image attached to the prescription.
0:00 Hi there! In today's training video, we're going to be going over how to fax or print your prescription. So, with
regards to faxing, you do need a preferred pharmacy set for your patient that contains a fax number.
0:15 Your preferred pharmacy drop down will be located up at the top of the prescriptions module. From there, any
pharmacies that are assigned to that patient will be listed for you to select the appropriate one for that day's
prescription.
0:31 Should you need to assign any new pharmacy to the patient that would be done under manage pharmacies in
green up at the very top.
0:39 You can check out our help portal for additional videos on how to manage your pharmacies. With your
prescription we're going to scroll down to the bottom and see our save and print option.
0:49 Save and print will then load it into your new window in order for you to print or fax it. An additional
requirement for faxing will be to have a signature.
1:00 If you have a signature stamp saved under your preferences, that will automatically populate here onto your
prescriptions module. Should you need to add a wet signature, you're able to use that with your actions box in the
very top corner by signing with your mouse.
1:17 You have the sign button, which will populate that signed signature automatically onto your prescription. You
also have an option to save that wet signature that you have drawn.
1:29 You have a save button, which will then give you a label in order for you to name your signature.
1:40 The save button will then save it to your Favorites list. Your Favorites list will then be located in that actions box,
where you're able to select any signature image that you have. Should you wish to use an alternate one, you can select
that and it will populate into the actions box as well as on the prescription on the left.
1:57 You're able to remove your pharmacy information that has populated onto your prescription should you need to,
and you also have a destination pharmacy dropdown here should the patient change their mind on the destination
pharmacy that it is going to
2:10 From here the print and fax buttons will be green and populated for you to utilize.
2:18 That would be concluding today's training video on how to print and fax your prescription. Check out our Help
Portal for other helpful videos. Thanks!
