Here we will cover how to add new prescriptions to your Favorites list. We will also cover how to manage the Favorites by using categories and search bar for efficiency.
0:01 Hi there. In today's video, we're going to be going over your drug favorites and how to manage them. So I'm just going to click on the Rx here from the appointment in order to open up our medications window.
0:13 From here, we're going to search for a new drug under our drug name in order to create a medication prescription that can be saved as our favorites.
0:22 So under our dosage instructions, we're going to type in our instructions here. This is how you want it to be presented, how you want it to be saved within your favorites.
0:35 After you've typed in your dosage instructions, the favorites link is going to be located in the bottom right of that prescription, add to favorites in green.
0:46 By clicking on that, you'll receive a pop-up saying favorite saved. That favorite will now be available along the right-hand side, underneath your favorites it's in order to be prescribed to another individual and the other patients as needed.
1:00 With your favorites, you have the option of a search bar up at the top that you're able to search for a drug that you wish to prescribe to another patient.
1:09 You can use the search filter in order to locate drugs in order to click and prescribe. You also have the option of creating categories, so such as we have faves here as well as tablets.
1:22 You'll see at the bottom that we have an uncategorized section. If you wish to utilize the category feature, that's going to be done within the Managed tab on the far right.
1:35 By clicking on Manage, that'll open up your window here. You will see the categories on the left, so items that have been categorized are able to click on a category, and that'll load that one for you.
1:47 To create a new category, We're going to click on Add New Category in the top left and then enter in a name for it.
1:56 So in this example, I'm just going to do Tools. And we're going to go to Uncategorized in order to assign those items.
2:09 You want to hit Enter after entering in your category name in order to drop that new category down. From the uncategories section, I'm going to locate my CPAP, and under assigned category, we're going to now mark off tools and click Save.
2:27 I'm also going to do that for our hearing aid that we have. You'll notice that there is pop-ups advising on the changes that are made with regards to your favorites in the bottom right corner.
2:40 So you'll see favorite saved. Now when we close our favorite section, we will see our tools category available with our two items that we have entered in.
