If you have a settled invoice form Teleplan that you need to submit a debit for here are the steps.
How to Submit the Debit Request
Locate the invoice via Invoice List within the patient Master Record.
Select Edit on the right side within the Invoice List:
Set the Submission Code to E|Debit Request (the Reprocess and Re-submit button will appear below)
Set the Sequence number from the Bill Transaction History (the latest sequence number with SET Status)
Set the MSP Date to the date the invoice was created - the first entry in Bill Transaction History
Set the Correspondence Code to Electronic Note enter the reason for the request Eg. billed in Error or Data Entry Error
Click on Reprocess and Resubmit.
This invoice will be the set as NOSUB to be sent along with your next Teleplan submission.
Debit Request Processing Time
The debits will be processed by Teleplan at the same speed as new claims, meaning debits entered today will not resolve until the following remittance date. Once the debit claims are processed by Teleplan you'll be able to find them in your PWE report, choose Admin, Edit Invoices and the options indicated below.
IMPORTANT - If the service dates on the to-be-debited claims are over the 90 day time limit, you cannot submit the new claims to replace them unless you've received permission directly from Teleplan.
