Your system is connected to Teleplan by your Data Centre number. This area on your OSCAR Pro system is called Manage Teleplan.
Any changes in value or new service codes, Explanatory Codes and Diagnostic Codes when available for update are added/updated through the steps below.
We recommended that you do this periodically, (every 1 to 2 months).
UPDATE MSP SERVICE CODES
Choose: Administration > Billing > Manage Teleplan > Update Billing Codes.
The new codes and fee changes for existing codes will list and a page resembling the example below will appear.
NOTE: allow the page to completely load before proceeding to the next step. Be patient, as it can take up to a minute to finish loading the all codes. Scroll to bottom to be sure.
Once loaded, click on Update Codes at the top of the list to start the process. The screen will close once completed. If you skip this step, your billing codes will not be updated.

UPDATE MSP ICD9 CODES
Choose: Administration > Billing > Manage Teleplan > Update MSP ICD9 Codes.
Although there is no obvious indicator that this process is complete, be sure to allow a few seconds for the codes to finish downloading.
Explanatory Codes
These are the codes that come back with a response from MSP indicating a rejection or PWE or HELD claim. The Explanatory code will help you identify the reason behind a rejection.
Periodically MSP will update wording or change the descriptions.
Choose: Administration > Billing > Manage Teleplan > Update Explanatory Codes.
The list will load for you to review should you choose but you can simply close once you have the list displayed.
