Once MFA is enabled, all users upon login will be prompted to set up a secondary authentication option as an extra level of security. The following options are available:
- Okta Verify - Use a push notification sent to the mobile app.
- Security Key or Biometric Authenticator - Use a security key (USB or bluetooth) or a biometric authenticator (Windows Hello, Touch ID, etc.)
- Google Authenticator - Enter single-use code from the mobile app.
- SMS Authentication - Enter a single-use code sent to your mobile number.
The MFA setting is optional and is not required to be turned on. Once turned it it will apply to all users attempting to login.

Navigate to Administration

Select User Management > Pro Auth Settings

Under “Enable MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication”, hover over the DISABLED button.

Select "Enable"
Result: all OSCAR users will be asked to set up an additional authentication method upon first login. Once set up, users will use MFA after entering their password in OSCAR.
