Preferences are settings that you set under your own login, anything you set here overrides the administration default settings.
While there are some Preference settings that we don't use as commonly as others, here we will breakdown the list for you to better understand the desired outcome of setting or enabling a Preference Setting.
Firstly you will find Preferences located in the upper green banner along to top of your schedule screen.
Everything you set in the above, you want to Update at the bottom of this portion.

| Set Provider Colour | Changes the colour banner on the eChart. |
| Set default printer for envelopes, labels, receipts | Allows you to configure a printer to load when printing. |
| Set to hide No Shows and/or Cancellations on the schedule | If you do not wish to see them on your schedule view. |
| Set Rx Script Page Size | A4, A6 or Letter set if you have a preference. |
| Set Default Rx Page Print Mode- CLASSIC VIEW ONLY | Auto checks off print full page. |
| Set To Use Rx3 - CLASSIC VIEW ONLY | Default Classic Prescription Module. |
| HRM Notification Preferences - ONTARIO ONLY | Set which error notifications to receive. |
| Configure Sign & Save Button in eChart | Disable automatic closing of eChart after sign and Save. |
| Set To Enable CPP Single Line | When adding CPP entries using the quick buttons on a Consultation Request, it will populate entries one per line. |
| Set to Show Patient's Date of Birth | Show DOB on Prescriptions |
| Set Default Quantity in RX3 | Will set default quantity when writing a prescription |
| Set Stale Date for Case Management Notes | Encounter notes remain expanded, can set to collapse after a certain time frame. |
| Set myDrugref ID** | An external service that logs into myDrugRef and provides provider-specific prescribing guidelines. |
| Set Consultation Request Cutoff Time period | Allows you to enter in a time duration for when you wish to receive a Consultation notification for items not actioned. Requires a Team to be assigned below. |
| Set Consultation Request Warning Team | Set your Consultations Team for not actioned Warning (above). |

| Set Paste Format in Consultation Request | Single or multi line when adding CPP on consultation. |

| Set Default HC Type | Set default province when creating new patient demographics |
| Set PHR login ID** | Legacy setting - No longer supported |

| Configure eChart CPP | Allows you to change order of CPP, hide Rick Factors, Family History and Reports. |
| OLIS Preferences - ONTARIO ONLY | Set default date period for searching. |
| Manage Comment Box When Acknowledging Labs | Inbox - Disable to Comment box that auto-populates |
| Lab Recall Settings | Recall button on labs, generates a Tickler and Message to auto-populate to a specific user with set message subject. Must have default recipient set for Ticklers as same. |
| Lab Display Default to All Versions | Enable to show all versions. |
| Set Default Encounter Window Size | Set for the screen size |
| Set Default Encounter Print/Fax Options | Option for all or date span for CPP, RX and Labs when using Print option in eChart. |
| Set Default Quick Chart Size | Option to set a number of notes for quick chart sizing. |
| Set to Enable Document Browser in Document Report (EDoc)** | Browser allows access to scroll through documents while in Documents list (think preview). |
| Set to Enable Document Browser in Master Record | Browser allows access to scroll through documents from Master Record (think preview). |
| Set Maximum Patient Name Length | Add more characters to schedule display pt name. |
| Set Document Description Template ** | Legacy setting - No longer supported |
| Manage API Clients | Allows users to see which tokens are connected to their account - typically no longer in use. |
| Set Display Document as PDF or Image | Default is Image, option to set as PDF if preferred. |
| Set BORN Preferences (RBR/NDDS Prompts)** | Legacy setting - No longer supported |
| Set Appointment Card Preferences | Set custom values on Appointment Card |
| Set Default Demographic Search Mode | Default is name, option to default search to DOB, Phone Number etc. |
| Set Dashboard Preferences | Providers data is included in a batch job that sends provider metrics to an external reporting dashboard integration. |
| Set to display custom roster status on the schedule | If you have custom roster Status' you can opt to have this displayed on the schedule. |
