The Attachment Manager allows users to discretely select almost all content available in a patients eChart. This content can be combined into a PDF export or faxed with a cover letter to desired recipients.

Exporting Selected Items to a Combined PDF
- Navigate to eChart of desired patient

Click the Attachment Manager icon at the bottom of the eChart:
- Select desired items
- Click the PRINT button at the top left
Result: A PDF file is generated and downloaded to your computer containing all selected items
Faxing Selected Items to a Recipient
- Navigate to eChart of desired patient

Click the Attachment Manager icon at the bottom of the eChart:
- Select desired items
- Click the Fax button at the top left to access the Fax Panel
- Select Fax Recipients by either entering a fax number manually or selecting from preexisting list of Specialists in OSCAR.
- Enable/Disable Fax Cover Page as desired

When ready to send the fax, click the SEND FAX button at the bottom right.
Selecting Fax Recipients
To enter a fax recipient from existing list of Specialists within the EMR, click inside the Search Contacts section, enter the last name of the provider, and select an entry.
Select desired Specialists from list and continue the process until all desired recipients have been selected.
To enter a fax recipient manually, click inside the Fax Number field and enter a desired fax number.
Click the + icon to add desired recipient.
Optional: Enter a name for the associated fax number. The name entered is used for label purposes and is not saved for future use.
Added fax recipients appear under the Sending To section. If desired, click the - button to remove a selected recipient.
Include Fax Cover Page
When the Include Fax Cover Page is selected, users can customize a Subject Line and Cover Page Message per each fax send
Please note that this setting is persistent. If disabled, it will remain off in future uses of Attachment Manager until re-enabled.
The cover page includes the following:
- Clinic Name [Generated from EMR]
- Clinic Address [Generated from EMR]
- Clinic Phone and Fax [Generated from EMR]
- Cover Page Subject: [Entered by User for each fax]
- Cover Page Content: [Entered by User for each fax]
- Default privacy message [Hardcoded in EMR]
