Utilizing Teams for Consultation Requests
This video outlines the steps to effectively utilize the Teams feature for managing consultation requests within the system.
Key Steps
1. Accessing the Consultations Tab 0:00
- Navigate to the Consultations tab (highlighted in green) from your schedule.
- Click to open the consult list.
2. Searching by Team 0:19
- Locate the search option at the top left of the consult list.
- Select a team (e.g., Lisa) from the dropdown menu.
- Set a date range for the past month.
3. Viewing Consultation Requests 0:40
- Click on Consultation Requests for this Team to load the consults associated with the selected team.
4. Assigning a Team to a Provider 1:04
- Ensure a team is assigned to a provider in their record.
- This action requires admin access.
5. Accessing User Management 1:12
- Click on Administration.
- Go to User Management on the left side.
6. Searching for a Provider Record 1:25
- Select Search Edit Delete Provider Records.
- Search for the provider by last name or provider number.
7. Updating the Provider Record 1:39
- Click on the ID number (in blue) to open the provider record.
- Add the team (e.g., Mental Health) to the provider record.
- Click Update Record at the bottom to save changes.
8. Creating a New Consultation 2:13
- Click on the E of the patient's appointment.
- Select Consultations from the left by clicking the plus sign to open a new consultation.
9. Assigning a Team to the Consultation 2:27
- The assigned team will automatically load under Send To.
- You can change the team by clicking on the team list.
10. Completing the Consultation Form 2:57
- Choose the service and consultant.
- Fill out the rest of the consult form as needed.
- Attach any required documents.
11. Submitting the Consultation 3:09
- Click Submit at the top to save the consultation in the chart.
12. Filtering Consultations by Team 3:31
- Go back to the Consultations Tab.
- Select the team (e.g., Mental Health) from the list.
- Enter the date range and click Consult Requests for this Team.
13. Reviewing Assigned Consultations 3:52
- Ensure the start date is prior to the end date to view the assigned consultations.
Cautionary Notes
- Ensure you have the necessary admin access to assign teams to providers.
- Double-check the date range when filtering consultations to avoid errors.
