In this mini video we will cover how to manage Super Codes, including how to edit and create any new Super Codes. We will conclude with how to generate an invoice for OHIP using a newly created Super Code.
0:00 Hi there. In today's training video, we're going to be going over how to manage your super codes. Super codes
allows you to create a billing template, grouping service codes together.
0:11 You can also group diagnostic codes together in order to bill your invoices with one click. In order to manage
any of your super codes, you do need to be within the invoice creation page.
0:25 From here, we're going to open up our billing settings with the gear shift in the very top right corner. That's
going to give you a split window where we're able to select.
0:34 Super codes. From here, you're able to edit and manage any of the existing super codes that you currently have
on your system.
0:43 The action buttons will be located on the right side. The pencil will allow you to edit your super code. The trash
can will delete the super code from your system and the plus sign will also allow you to select and load that super
code onto your invoice page.
1:01 If you are in this window. For example, I am going to edit. I'm going to click on the pencil on our training code.
1:08 That's going to load it up at the top for us to make any edits. From here, you do have a negative symbol on the
right-hand side if you need to remove a code off of your super code.
1:18 You are able to search your database in order to add different super service codes to your super code from here.
1:26 You can again also. Edit to the diagnostic code that visit type site or SLI code as well. Any changes that you make
you do want to make sure that you've clicked update.
1:36 If you are deleting it, you have the delete button. In order to create any new super codes that's going to be up
at the top of this page create super codes under the super code name is going to be where you're able to give your
super code a name.
1:51 For instance, I'm going to make a birch tree. Under service code, I'm going to search for an assessment. And
then I'm going to search for the tracking code for a virtual appointment.
2:06 From here again, you're able to default that diagnostic code the visit type site number or SLI code should you
need to.
2:13 You're also able to default units under the quantity box. It is default to bill automatically one unit, but should
you need to create a super code for additional you would be able to enter that in under the quantity box.
2:26 Once you're satisfied with your super code, we're going to click save. We can close our billing settings with the
very top right corner with the X.
2:39 That'll bring you back to your invoice page and your new super code will be available in the super code
dropdown.
2:45 This is also a type ahead, so you are able to search by typing in order to locate your service code.
2:52 That'll pop up. It'll populate for you after selected your super code with any of the codes that you have included
in that macro from here.
2:59 We're able to enter in a diagnostic code if it was not defaulted in your super code and then your save buttons
will be located in the bottom left corner.
