Batch Billing:
First the patient would need to register for Batch Billing, this can be done from the patient's demographic's, the Master Record. Along the left side under the Billing tab you will need to select Add Batch Billing:
Here you will need to enter in the provider, service code and diagnostic code before hitting Save.
Please note that Batch Billing can only be set up to bill one service code per invoice generated.
This step would need to be completed for every patient that will be included in the Batch Billing.
Once all patients have been registered for the Batch Billing, the invoices can be created under the Administration panel.
We will navigate to Administration > Billing > Batch Billing:
Here you can select the Provider, Service Code and Clinic Location to load Batch Billing patient list.
The patients can be selected with the checkmarks along the left side, there is a top checkmark that will select All patients if required.
At the bottom of the patient list will be button to Generate Batch Invoices for the service date entered.
Once generated the invoices would be in the O Bill OHIP status, ready to be included in your next Generated Claim File.
INR Batch Billing:
Like Batch Billing, the patient's first need to be registered for INR Batch Billing, which again would be completed from their Master Record. Along the left-hand side, under the Billing tab, you will need to select Add INR:
The service code, and diagnostic code will already be populated. The provider will need to be selected, and then click Submit.
A second window will appear for review and confirmation:
This step would need to be repeated for all patients receiving anticoagulant supervision.
Once patients are all registered, the INR Batch Billing can be completed a number of ways.
First, from the patient Master Record, under the Billing tab is option Bill INR:
This will load the full INR patient list, you can place a checkmark beside the patient and scroll to bottom of list to Generate INR Batch Billing.
Alternately, if you have several patients booked in the same day for INR, a full patient list can be generated for invoices under the Administration panel.
We will need to navigate to Administration > Billing > INR Batch Billing:
Once generated, the invoices would be included in your next Simulation and Generated Claim File for OHIP.
Should you need to delete a patient from the INR Batch Billing list, their name would need to be clicked on from the INR Batch Billing list generated from the Administration panel:
