The Disease Registry can assist in Caseload, populating Flowsheets as well as possibly assist in identifying billing opportunities.

To add a condition to a patients Disease Registry, you will need to add by diagnostic code.
You can search by keyword, and select or if you know your DX code you can simply type it and Add.
Additionally, you can create a Quick list to select.
Creating/Editing Quick Lists
You can add to the Disease registry quick list via Administration > System Management > Customize Disease Registry Quick List.
Edit Quick list, or you can create a new list.
Enter or search and select the appropriate code, then click ADD.
You can highlight and select Remove to clean up the list as well.
Utilizing the Disease Registry
Should you require a specific report, we encourage you to contact our support team with details of your reporting needs. We will assess the feasibility of creating a Report by Template (RBT) tailored to your requirements. We have developed various reports in the past and may be able to adapt or extend existing templates to suit your needs.
Please be advised that if the request involves functionality unrelated to previously developed RBTs, development fees may apply at a rate of $150 per hour. A formal quotation will be provided for your approval prior to the commencement of any custom development work.
Utilizing the Disease Registry - Caseload
Once loaded, you want to select the Doctor's name and the Dx code you are wanting to review, then Search.
You can use the Rostered as well if this is used in your instance.
You will then see populated a list of patients. You can note if there are next appointments or recent labs. There is access to Billing history or create a tickler to call pts in.

Utilizing the Disease Registry - Patient List
You can run a report in order to look at the patients identified on the disease registry.
On your main OSCAR page, you will want to click on the Administration > Reports > Disease Registry.
On the dropdown menu labeled as Add From QuickList, you will want to open it and select the Diabetes option.
Once selected, you will want to click on the Add button as shown below to add this code into your search criteria.
When successfully added, you will see the following. You can then proceed to click on the Search Patients button.
Once the results have loaded you have an option of downloading to an Excel sheet.
