The favourites section within the Rx module allow users to maintain drug favourites that can be used to prescribe prepopulated medication so that commonly prescribed drugs do not need to be entered from scratch every time. Click here for instructions on how to add a favourite.
Each provider can designate their favourite list to be 'sharable' allowing other providers to copy which drugs they want to add to their own favourite list.
Below you will find instructions on how to make your favourite list shareable and how to copy favourites from other providers on your system that have made theirs shareable.
Designating a drug list as shareable
- Navigate to the Rx module of any patient (preferably a test patient). Click Copy beside the Favorites section on the left hand side.
- Check off Share my Favourites
This will auto save once selected.
Copying a drug list from another provider
Note: a provider must designate their list as 'shareable' before their favourites can be copied to another provider. See above on how to do so.
- Navigate to the Rx module of any patient (preferably a test patient)
- Click Copy beside the Favorites section on the left hand side
Once selected you will see a drop down of that providers Favourites, have the option to either Copy All or scroll through as copy individually.
Whichever you select you will get a confirmation this was saved.
