Update Your Nexus AI Settings
To update your settings, click the Settings button.
Customizing Your Nexus AI Settings
Use the dropdown menus to personalize how your tool works. You may need to scroll down to see all available options.
1. Encounter Timestamps
- If the checkbox is checked, a timestamp of when the encounter started and ended will be included at the end of your note.
2. Speech Languages
- Select up to four languages.
- These must be chosen before starting a session in any of those languages to ensure proper functionality.
3. Language of Note
- Sets the language used for your notes and any content generated by Nexus AI.
4. Default Note Template
- Choose the template that will automatically be applied when starting a new session.
5. Favourite Note Templates
- Mark templates as favourites to have them appear at the top of the template dropdown menu for quick access.
Important: After making any changes, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save All Settings to apply them.
How to Upload a Custom Template
To submit your own note template:
- Go to the Customized Note Template Submissions section in your Nexus AI settings.

Type or paste your template into the field provided. Be sure to include your desired template name on the first line.
(If you don’t have a full template, you can upload a sample note instead.) - Scroll down and click Save All Settings to complete your submission.

Your custom template will be uploaded to Nexus AI within 5 business days, and you’ll receive an email once it's available.
