Below are directives on how to set a provider record as Inactive.
Please note that if you're inactivating a physician or a nurse practitioner, please contact support with the provider number to update our Accounts team regarding any support changes.
A provider can be made Inactive by another provider with Administration access.
This can be done by navigating to Administration > User Management > Search/Edit/Delete Provider Records:
From here you can search by the provider's last name, and then click on the ID number in blue on the left to open the provider record.
Once opened, the status will need to be updated to a 0 (inactive) from the 1 (active):
Please ensure that you have scrolled to the bottom of the page to click Update Record to save your changes!
A login can be set to a date for expiration, or it can be deleted by navigating to Administration > User Management > Search/Edit/Delete Security Record:
Here you can search by the user's Provider Number, which is the blue ID number from the above step.
The User Name needs to be clicked to open the security login window.
Here you can set an Expiry Date, or select Delete Record.
If the provider is marked off under Messages, you can remove the provider by navigating to Administration > System Management > Messenger Group Admin:
Here you can remove the checkmark beside the provider's name and Update Group Members button at the top of the list to save your changes!
Please note that the provider will be removed from the Ticklers list automatically once made inactive.
