Managing Pharmacies with PrescribeIT integration in Oscar Pro EMR
Key Steps
1. Accessing the RX Module

Open any patient record in Oscar Pro EMR.

Navigate to the RX module.

Click on 'Manage Pharmacy' at the top of the window.
2. Identifying Prescribed Enabled Pharmacies

Review the list of pharmacies displayed.

Look for pharmacies with the
badge indicating they are prescribed enabled.
3. Searching for and adding a New Pharmacy

Scroll to the bottom of the 'Manage Pharmacy' window.

Click on 'Search Provider Registry' to find new pharmacies.
4. Using the Fields Filter

Utilize the Fields filter to search for pharmacies by:

Name
-
City
-
-
Example:
- 'Whitby'
- 'Shoppers'
- 'Walmart'
5. Adding a Pharmacy 0:49

Select the row of the desired PrescribeIT Pharmacy.

Confirm the addition by checking the confirmation message at the bottom right.
6. Expanding Search Parameters

Change the Fields filter to 'All Fields' to search by:

Address
-
Postal Code
-
Phone
-
Fax
-
7. Updating existing Pharmacy Information

Click on the 'Update All External Pharmacies' button to refresh information for prescribed enabled pharmacies.
8. Converting Local Pharmacies

Use the 'Convert Local to External Pharmacies' button to match and convert locally entered pharmacies to prescribed enabled records.
9. Identifying Communication Capabilities

Look for pharmacies with the 'CC' badge, indicating they can be contacted using the Clinician Communication feature.
